You said yes?! It's time to Save the Date!

Congratulations on your engagement!  We know this is such an exciting and magical time in your life!  Once the excitement of the initial engagement has settled down, its time to start planning the big day! The task can seem incredibly intimidating, we know. Take everything one step at a time, starting with part one: Save the Dates. The first step in wedding planning is to set the date and decide who will be invited. Save the Dates are a fantastic way to announce your upcoming wedding and give your guests ample time to plan ahead.
Many bridal sites recommend sending Save the Dates out to invited guests at least 6-8 months in advance so that they can make arrangements to ensure their attendance.  Its important to decide on the invited guest list before sending out the Save the Dates. Once you've sent someone a Save the Date, out of proper etiquette, they must be on your guest list and receive a formal invitation. Guests typically do not RSVP to Save the Dates, so expect to be able to finalize a guest list once you send out your formal invitations.  The great news is that Save the Dates do not need to match the overall theme of your wedding! That means there's no stress or rush in deciding the color scheme or theme. Save the Dates are sent out so early in the planning stages that they become a stand alone moment in the wedding journey. Choose a Save the Date design that represents you as a couple and compliments any photos you decide to use.
This couple chose a gorgeous hexagonal wreath in sage greens to frame their photo and enhance the pop of color, the flower, just above the engagement ring. Drawing the eye to the ring in this way is a great tip for a Save the Date photo! The eye is naturally drawn to the faces of the couple so this pop of color drawing attention to the hand and subsequently the ring is a great way to showcase this new and gorgeous detail in your life.
Floral designs are a gorgeous choice of background for any engagement photos. The blush tones of this card are a gentle and romantic look that frames the photo in a magical light. The uniqueness of the diamond shape of the photo will certainly create a memorable Save the Date and the glow of the sun behind this couple is so beautiful and we just can't stop looking at them!
No photos are necessary for a Save the Date! We have plenty of announcements that consist purely of information in beautiful fonts with watercolor style floral designs as frames. This option is great for couples who have not had engagement photos taken yet and who wish to get the date out promptly!
Have the date big and bold, as this couple does! This design really highlights the date and uses it as a frame for this lovely engagement photo, a design idea we love! The colors of the design are soft and neutral, allowing the richness of the blues in the couple's outfits to draw the eye into the calm and loving energy of the photo.
Send a postcard Save the Date and all you'll need is a stamp! The colors and season in the photo on the Save the Dates does not have to match the season of the wedding date or the time of year you send out the card. Consider colors for your Save the Date that reflect the season in your engagement photos, such as this couple using warm burgundy tones to compliment their snowy photo!
They're sure to remember the date when they use this coaster! If you know the location of your wedding, we have designs that can highlight the city skyline for you! Our coasters are a great addition to any event as well, including engagement parties and bridal events.
Stick it right to the fridge! These magnet Save the Dates ensure that your invited guests hang your card in a frequented and visible place. Showcase your lovely faces and feature your furry baby on your Save the Dates. Rubi and Lib has lots of pet images to chose from to match the look of your little one. This personal touch to the design is a great way to represent you as a couple and your growing family. Envelopes can be printed as well, saving you time!
Choose a Save the Date with a color scheme that matches the outfits in your photo! In the above picture, this couple based their color choice on the man's shirt. This ties the whole card together and really focuses on the faces of the couple, which show so much love and happiness. And that's what it's all about!
With so many designs we have something to fit everyones taste.
