Family Friendly Saint Patrick's Day Ideas

St. Patrick's Day is just around the clover and we are ready to turn the world green with some family fun. St. Patrick's Day celebrations with family may not be the fun "kiss me I am Irish" beer-induced shenanigans we once knew, so here are some fun ideas you can use to make the day a family affair and create your own pot of gold.

Breakfast time is a great way to get the day started in true green theme before your kids are headed off to school. Just adding a small bit of green food color to your kids' morning milk and pairing it with the forever famous Lucky charms will have your kids feeling lucky enough!

A great way to spread the luck around is to send your little ones off to school and daycare with special treats for their friends. You can simply add personalized stickers to a small bag of treats and look like you have it all together, even if you did put it together the night before.  If you are looking for a quick and fun treat, try this fun St. Patrick's Day popcorn recipe from Two Sisters Crafting

Packed lunches are always a great way to incorporate a little fun in the day as well. To pull some of these off, all you need is a good heart shaped cookie cutter and a few minutes. Your kids will love to find this when they open their lunch box.  Find a lot of great inspiration at Creative-Food.

If you are lucky enough to have time to celebrate this day with friends, why not include personalized items to make your party really sparkle! Guests both young and old will love seeing your names on these napkins displayed on the table. Or better yet, they can have a cup to keep to remember the awesome time they had. What you put in your cup can be your little secret.
