Dump everything and join our crew for Jack’s construction themed third birthday party recap!
Today we are sharing all the little details that helped to pull off this construction themed party. For the little boy who is fascinated by construction trucks and machinery, this party was a big hit! We have said it before but will say it again, to set the tone for any party, whether for kids or adults, you must start with a great invitation. These construction invitations were the perfect touch to get us all ready to party. We have both printed versions and digital copies that are perfect for texting and emailing.
For the non personalized decor we looked no further than Amazon. We found the adorable backdrop pictured below and then added our own touch with the addition of Jack's name to the sign.
The cake was homemade and we dug into with toy construction accents. The addition of fondant accents from Peace Love & Cake NY took this simple cake and made it look like it was prepared professionally! So fun and delicious too! When it came time to sing to the birthday boy we added one final touch, these construction cone candles.
A fun element to our construction party was the construction hats that we personalized with Rubi and Lib stickers. As you can see, they were fun for the kids AND the adults!
Our drink station was decorated with novelty construction signs. Everyone could help themselves to water, “crew juice,” or “foreman beverages.”
For a personalized touch to pull all the details together we used Rubi and Lib’s personalized stadium cups and napkins for the party.
We love to package our cups as a take home party favor. We placed some gorgeous decorated cookies from Ashley's Cake By Design inside, wrapped them up and sent them home for a treat for later!
