    Process & FAQs

    We know that each wedding is unique and different for every bride and groom - so why shouldn't your stationery by the same? We will work together to create an invitation and day-of products that are uniquely and perfectly yours. 

    STEP ONE | 4 TO 6 MONTHS PRIOR TO WEDDING 

    Choose a design from our signature collection or opt for a custom design that is created just for you. All fonts and colors can be adjusted on our signature collection pieces. 

    Once you have determined what stationery pieces you are interested in, complete our wedding inquiry form below. Or if you're not sure, contact us and we'll discuss your needs and move forward from there! 

    STEP TWO | PROECT PROPOSAL

    Once we receive your inquiry form, you will be provided with a price quote, design contract, and invoice for a deposit. We request a 50% non refundable deposit to begin all design work.

    STEP THREE | DESIGN AND REFINEMENT

    Once your deposit and signed contract are received, your design time is secured on our calendar. At this point you will receive a document that allows you to outline all the necessary information (i.e. names, dates, time, etc.) we'll need to design your items. 

    Within one (1) week you’ll receive your first electronic proof. If you opt for a custom design, we strive to present 2-3 proof options to choose from. Based on your feedback, we'll make revisions to the design. 

    Once you are in love with your designs, you will sign a final print approval, pay the remaining balance and we’ll move into printing.

    STEP FOUR |  PRINTING 

    3 MONTHS PRIOR TO WEDDING

    Printing and production will take 2-3 weeks. It is very important to have all items approved for printing 1 month before your mail date.

    STEP FIVE | MAILING

    6-8 WEEKS PRIOR TO WEDDING

    Now the real fun begins! All items will be delivered prior to the agreed upon mailing date. You may want to consider address printing for your envelopes - the font can be matched to the rest of your suite to really tie your look together and make mailing an easy process. Just assemble, stamp, and mail. 

    HOW DO I START AN ORDER?
    To start your invitation purchase, please complete the stationery inquiry form. We'll send you an quote within 2 business days. Once approved, we require a 50% non refundable deposit to confirm your order on our design calendar. Initial proofs are sent within 1 week (depending on number of design changes).  
     

    WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DESIGN PROCESS LOOK LIKE? 

    Once we receive your deposit and signed design contract your design time is secured on our calendar. You will receive a document asking for necessary personalization information we will need to complete your designs. One week after we receive this information back you will receive your first round of electronic proofs. If we're working on a custom design, we strive to send 2-3 design ideas for you to review and choose from. 

    We will await your feedback before making revisions to the design. There are three (3) rounds of proofs included, additional proofs are $15 each.  With each round of proofs you can suggest changes to revise and refine the designs, which will be incorporated into the next round of proofs.

     

    HOW LONG WILL THE PROCESS TAKE?

    Each project is tailored to your vision, so therefore it is imperative that requested information and feedback are given in a timely manner. Estimated dates of completion will vary based on number of requested changes and your response time for feedback and approval of the designs. Typically follow up proofs are sent within 2-3 days after you provide feedback (this time may be longer on custom designs).
